Michael Ebright, MD

Dr. Ebright is currently Director of Thoracic Surgery at Stamford Health, as well as Vice-Chair of the Department of Surgery. He is also an attending surgeon at New York- Presbyterian/Columbia in Manhattan and Associate Clinical Professor of Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Ebright was an Assistant Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Boston University School of Medicine where he practiced for over six years. There, he was Director of the Center for Thoracic Oncology and served as Co-Chair of the hospital-wide Value Analysis Committee.

Dr. Ebright has a B.A. from Haverford College, and an M.D. from New York University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgical residency and cardiothoracic surgical residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. His surgical oncology research fellowship and thoracic surgical oncology fellowship were completed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Michael is currently getting his MBA from the Kelley School of Business of Indiana University.
