Our Approach

Aging can often bring health challenges – some predictable, some not. If your health care needs become more complex as you age, you may benefit from an evaluation by a geriatrician, a physician with specialized expertise in caring for older adults. Our geriatricians work collaboratively with your primary care provider. Our goal is to help you make decisions that will allow you to feel good, remain happy, and be productive for as long as possible.

Our board-certified and fellowship-trained geriatricians have the united goal of providing compassionate, expert care.

If you or a loved one is a patient at Stamford Hospital, our geriatric inpatient team specializes in dementia and delirium. They work in close collaboration with hospitalists and specialists both before and after surgical procedures.

We have two convenient locations in Greenwich and Wilton so making an appointment is as accessible as possible.

If you’re a caregiver of an established Stamford Health patient, you are welcome to join our Geriatric Caregiver support group. This small, supportive group provides a safe space for caregivers to connect with one another, talk openly, share experiences, and learn helpful tips from others who understand what it’s like to care for a loved one with dementia. The group is facilitated by a licensed social worker, meets monthly, and is offered at no cost. Please call 203.276.4773 if you’d like to join.
