Imaging & Radiology Services At Stamford Health

Stamford Health’s radiology professionals are dedicated to providing the most accurate imaging by obtaining the highest level of credentialing through the American College of Radiology in the following areas.

MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging uses magnetic fields instead of radiation to take highly detailed pictures of the body.
We rely on advanced CT technology, which enables physicians to perform thin-slice imaging, covering a large area of the body in a single breath-hold and reducing radiation exposure.
This technology combines positron emission tomography (PET) and computed tomography (CT) to create three-dimensional pictures to help your doctor make informed decisions regarding your treatment.
This subspecialty utilizes ultrasounds, CAT scans, and more to perform minimally invasive procedures, allowing patients to avoid traditional surgery.
This specialty uses radioactive materials to create detailed images of your body to study the function of your tissues and anatomy.
This simple, non-invasive test measures the bone density or volume of calcium and minerals within bone tissue with a low-dose X-ray.
We offer the most advanced diagnostic and imaging platforms, including 3D mammography and breast MRI, to detect any abnormalities in the breasts.
We use state-of-the-art equipment to minimize radiation exposure during your examination, which may include a barium enema or intravenous pyelogram.
This painless and radiation-free imaging procedure visualizes a patient’s soft tissues and structures inside the body with high-frequency sound waves.

Schedule A Mammogram

Staying on top of your breast health is important. Getting a mammogram every year, starting at age 40 (for average-risk individuals), is recommended by the American Cancer Society.
