About Me
Dr. Mallozzi graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from La Sapienza Medical School at the University of Rome in Italy. Dr. Mallozzi completed his residency in Family Medicine at Saint Joseph’s Medical Center where he also served as Chief Resident. Dr. Mallozzi partnered to build Stamford Family Practice, now Stamford Health Medical Group, in 1995. When he is not seeing patients in the office, he is treating patients at Edgehill Nursing Home in Stamford and is also the Medical Director at Edgehill. In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Mallozzi also spends time educating medical students as an Assistant Professor at a local university. He has been in practice as a Family Medicine physician since 1982. He has received numerous awards including the Compassionate Care Physician Award, Best Primary Care Doctor for the past five years for Fairfield County and New York Metro areas, and a nomination for the Magida Award.
