Dr. Betty Ann Robustelli has over 15 years of experience providing anesthesiology services at Stamford Health. She chose to specialize in anesthesiology to provide direct patient care that can improve the quality of life and outcomes for so many patients.

As the chair of the anesthesiology department, Dr. Robustelli leads a team of expert anesthesiologists providing some of the most advanced care in the region. She and her team deliver safe and effective care for patients in every service line, providing innovative treatments such as regional nerve blocks and indwelling catheter placements.

These leading-edge services help reduce the need for anesthesia drugs during surgeries and narcotic pain relievers after surgery. Stamford Anesthesiology Services, P.C., is one of the few anesthesiology groups in the nation to provide these narcotic-sparing surgery services in an effort to reduce anesthesia side effects, help patients recovery more quickly and prevent reliance on narcotic pain medicines.
