About Me

Carolyn Kasov is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She completed her Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Nursing from Pace University in New York. Carolyn received the Nightingale Award for Excellence in Nursing in 2011.  

Carolyn joined the cardiology team at Stamford Health in 2010 and is the lead nurse practitioner for the Stamford Health cardiology group. She has practices in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has a special interest in valvular heart disease and has served as the clinical coordinator for the Structural Heart and Valve Clinic at Stamford Health.  

She is committed to delivering patient-centered care, with a focus on promotion of health and prevention. Her philosophy of care includes an emphasis on patient education along with treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. She has expertise in cardiology and heart failure and is certified as a heart failure nurse practitioner with the Heart Failure Society of America as well as with the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. 

Carolyn enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with her family where she resides in Fairfield County. She sees patients in the Medical Office Building in Stamford.
