About Me
Chris Marks, a distinguished and board-certified physician assistant, brings a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to patient care across multiple specialties. With a foundation rooted in orthopedic trauma, they have expanded their proficiency to encompass neurosurgery, urology, and endocrinology/weight-loss management.
Graduating with a Bachelor of the Arts in Biology from SUNY New Paltz, Chris pursued higher education at Sacred Heart University, culminating in a Masters in PA Studies. Their exceptional leadership skills were evident as they were elected class president and their dedication was recognized through an invitation to join the prestigious Pi Alpha Honors Society for PAs.
Certified as a physician assistant in 2018, Chris has maintained BLS/ACLS certifications since 2013, ensuring the highest standard of care for their patients. Their journey into medicine was inspired by personal experiences, having encountered significant injuries during their active participation in high school and collegiate athletics.
Since 2019, Chris has been dedicated to orthopedic trauma, directly specializing in emergent and operative treatments for orthopedic injuries in both adult and pediatric populations. Their commitment extends beyond orthopedics, excelling in neurosurgery and urology while concurrently practicing in endocrinology/weight-loss management within the outpatient setting.
Beyond their clinical expertise, Chris distinguishes themselves by integrating their personal understanding of being a patient into their practice, showcasing empathy and understanding to those they serve. Outside of their medical endeavors, they prioritize spending cherished moments with family and enjoy various activities, including athletics, drawing, home projects, and passionately supporting the Buffalo Bills.
With an unwavering commitment to patient care and a multidisciplinary approach across specialties, Chris remains dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate health care to the community they serve.
