About Me
Dr. Daniel Bal is a family medicine physician passionate about the delivery of care to those he serves and is driven by the relationships he builds with his patients and the ability to help them achieve a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Bal provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages throughout all stages of life. He educates patients in ways to prevent disease and maintain good health including good nutrition, weight control and stress relief. He also is often the frontline physician detecting early signs of serious disease such as cardiovascular and metabolic conditions. Dr. Bal has a particular interest in wound care and will see patients at the Stamford Hospital Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center.
Dr. Bal earned his medical degree from the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He completed his residency at Stamford Hospital/Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in Family Medicine. He has also completed three years of General Surgery Residency both at Stamford Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
An active researcher, Dr. Bal is a published author, and has competed in numerous research competitions and presentations.
During his residency, Dr. Bal had the privilege to provide care to the community’s underserved population, further enhancing his training and skills.
