About Me

Dr. Roca did all his training at busy city hospitals such as Kings County in Brooklyn, Bellevue Hospital in NYC and Boston City Hospital. As a result, there are few diseases that he has not seen. He has expertise in a number of related fields such as allergy, immunology, pulmonary, critical care and sleep. His training in pediatric allergy and sleep medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital provides him with expertise in the management of pediatric patients. A PhD in neuropharmacology provides him with the ability to analyze the latest research. All together, his training enables him to approach medical problems from different perspectives. He has won numerous teaching awards and has been selected by his peers as an exemplary physician. Dr. Roca has also been named a “Top Doctor” multiple times by Castle Connolly, New York Magazine and Connecticut Magazine. Despite all this, he still feels his patients continue to teach him, and he considers caring for them a tremendous honor.
