Evan D. Sheha, MD
About Me
Dr. Evan Sheha is an Assistant Attending Orthopedic Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery specializing in spine surgery. His expertise lies in the application of minimally invasive techniques to treat the full spectrum of degenerative spinal conditions involving the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.
He received his medical degree from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He subsequently completed his orthopedic residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery followed by a fellowship in spine surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
His clinical and research interests focus on the application of new and enabling technologies in spine surgery – including navigated and robotic-assisted spine surgery, augmented reality, and 3D technology – as well as best practices to improve the safety and effectiveness of spine surgery in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
