Frank A. Masino, MD
About Me
Dr. Frank Masino is a Radiation Oncologist at Bennett Cancer Center. Dr. Masino has been practicing at Bennett Cancer Center for over 40 years and has served as Medical Director for the program from 2008-2022. Dr. Masino completed his undergraduate schooling at the University of Notre Dame and medical school training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He completed his post-graduate training in radiation oncology at Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Masino helped to spearhead our Cyberknife program in 2007 which transitioned to our Stereotactic program at Bennett Cancer Center in 2019. Stereotactic technology allows our team to deliver higher and more focused doses of radiation with extreme precision. This not only shortens treatment time for certain types of cancer but may also have a lower risk of side effects as any potential damage to surrounding organs can be minimized.
