"I would absolutely recommend Dr. Emami and really appreciated the excellent quality of care. Dr. Emami provided an explanation for what I experienced that was both detailed and presented in a way that was easy to follow. He was very receptive to all of my questions and made me feel comfortable asking follow-up questions. I never felt rushed or like I was imposing by asking for more details. He said that the three options I had were to either wait and observe, take medication, or have an ablation procedure. He was clear that he would not reccomend the medication route but that either waiting or having the procedure were both reasonable options and that it was up to my personal preference and comfort. He explained clearly the benefits and risks of both options, and only when asked directly did he supply his personal opinion. I appreciated that he was both up front about what he would choose for himself, but also was very clear that it was my decision either way.When I followed up with him through the portal the next day to clarify some confusion I had, he called me back the same day. I was amazed, not only by the speed of his reply, but also that he took the time to call me and really make sure my question was answered clearly and thoroughly.As a final note, I'm not sure if Dr. Emami always wears a mask when he sees patients or if he remembered that in my hospital room there was a sign on the door asking everyone to wear masks, but I have significant anxiety about exposure to illnesses and felt much more comfortable that we all had masks on. I trust Dr. Emami completely and feel very safe in his care."
