About Me

Ifeanyi Nwobi joined the Stamford Health Orthopedics Trauma Department as a certified physician assistant in 2019. Ifeanyi graduated with the Academic Excellence Award from the CCNY/Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education Physician Assistant Program at Harlem Hospital in 2010. He brings to Stamford Health a diverse working knowledge in various disciplines including orthopedics, emergency medicine, urgent care, neurosurgery, and urology. Ifeanyi specializes in evaluating and treating a wide range of orthopedic conditions and works alongside orthopedic surgeons during procedures in the operating room. He is experienced in management of various adult and pediatric fractures, joint aspirations and injections, wound closures, and other injuries of the hand.

Ifeanyi is a former Army veteran with combat experience in Iraq. He enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends. His hobbies include hiking outdoors, playing golf, reading, and traveling. But most importantly, he is a New York Giants fan and takes his fantasy football very seriously.
