About Me
Dr. Jamil Alexis is a gastroenterologist who diagnoses and treats a wide range of disorders affecting the stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, liver, and gallbladder. He has a particular interest in conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), hepatitis, and pancreatitis. Dr. Alexis is also passionate about colon cancer prevention and providing care for general digestive issues like abdominal pain, bloating, and irregular bowel habits.
Dr. Alexis chose to pursue a career in gastroenterology because of the opportunity to help people manage a wide variety of health concerns, offering both medical and procedural interventions to improve patient outcomes. His goal is to ensure patients feel comfortable and confident in their treatment plan, while fully understanding their condition.
