About Me

Dr. Herbert is a primary care physician and Site Director for Stamford Health Personal Medicine, a concierge medicine practice in the Stamford Health Medical Group. Dr. Herbert has practiced in this model since 2014, affording him the time to focus on wellness and preventative healthcare. Stamford Health Personal Medicine is a practice dedicated to providing not only outstanding patient care, but also an enhanced patient experience. Dr. Herbert strongly believes in a practice that is truly patient focused.

In addition to his current affiliations and leadership positions at Stamford Health, Dr. Herbert has previously served as Medical Director, Primary Care, Stamford Health Medical Group; Interim Chair, Department of Family Medicine; Chairman, Credentials Committee; and Chairman, Stamford Health Medical Staff.

He has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” multiple times by Castle Connolly, New York Magazine Metro Area, Connecticut, Greenwich, Stamford, New Canaan & Darien Magazines.

Dr. Herbert lives in Darien with his wife Liz and two children. In his free time he enjoys traveling, skiing, playing paddle tennis, and spending time with his family.
