About Me

Dr. Lillian Huang is a fellowship-trained breast surgical oncologist dedicated to the comprehensive treatment of both benign and malignant breast diseases, as well as individuals at high risk for breast cancer. With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Huang strives to create a compassionate environment where every patient feels informed, empowered, and fully supported throughout their breast health journey.

Dr. Huang earned her medical degree with a scholarly concentration in medical humanities and ethics from McGovern Medical School (The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston), where she also obtained a Master of Public Health. Following her medical education, she completed a general surgery residency at Mount Sinai South Nassau and went on to pursue advanced fellowship training in breast surgical oncology at the prestigious Dubin Breast Center of the Tisch Cancer Institute. At Mount Sinai, Dr. Huang received specialized training in cutting-edge surgical techniques, breast ultrasound, and multidisciplinary care. She performs a wide range of breast procedures including lumpectomy, mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy, axillary surgery, as well as high-risk breast cancer screening and the management of benign breast conditions.

Dr. Huang is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American Society of Breast Surgeons. Her research focuses on improving patient outcomes and addressing disparities in health care and has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. A passionate advocate for health equity, Dr. Huang is dedicated to ensuring all patients – regardless of background – have access to the best treatment options available.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, cycling, rock climbing, and trying new restaurants.
