Michael A. Bergman, PAC
About Me
Michael is the Structural Heart and Valve Center coordinator at Stamford Health. He earned his undergraduate degree from Queens College and his physician assistant degree from York Collegeof the City University of New York. He has been at Stamford Health since 2015 practicing general cardiology, interventional cardiology, critical care cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure, and structural heart/adult congenital heart disease.
Prior to joining Stamford Health, Michael was part of the NYP-Columbia University Medical Centercardiology team which helped get transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) approved by the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the United States. He was a paramedic for the New York City EMS/FDNY for 15 years and was a 9/11 first responder prior to becoming a physician assistant.
Michael is an avid fan of the New York Mets and coaches little league baseball in his free time. He loves to travel with his wife and son and is a self-proclaimed foodie. His office is located at the Structural Heart and Valve Center located in the Medical Office Building, fifthfloor, on the Stamford Health main campus.
