About Me
Dr. Wellisch takes pride in educating and mentoring his medical students, residents and fellows. He also conducted research in Molecular Neuroscience as well as on the “patient experience.” He has published numerous articles and medical reviews and has been invited to serve as guest reviewer for various medical specialty journals.
After returning home to the East Coast with his wife and three children, Dr. Wellisch has set out to establish a state-of-the-art multidisciplinary pain center at Stamford Health to serve our community and beyond.
Dr. Wellisch has been recognized as “Top Doctor,” and has previously led a pain management program to #1 ranking by Castle Connolly.

All patient satisfaction ratings are submitted by patients who have confirmed email addresses. After their visit, these patients receive a survey within a few days. They complete the survey online, providing feedback on specific aspects of their care. We use this feedback to improve our services and ensure each patient has an exceptional experience. To respect our patients' time, we only send out surveys once every 90 days, regardless of how many times they visit the clinic.
