About Me

Qadus Awan, MD is a board-certified radiologist. Born and raised in Flushing, New York, Dr. Awan brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to his work.

He completed his undergraduate studies in finance before realizing his true calling was in medicine. During his medical training, Dr. Awan discovered a passion for radiology and the essential role imaging plays in early detection and high-quality patient care.

Dr. Awan went on to complete a fellowship in neuroradiology, gaining advanced expertise in diagnostic imaging and image interpretation. Throughout his training and career, he has maintained a strong interest in women’s imaging, particularly breast imaging, drawn to its impact on early diagnosis, prevention, and women’s long-term health.

He is committed to providing careful, precise, and compassionate imaging interpretation, with a focus on helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their care. Dr. Awan currently lives in Darien, Connecticut, with his wife and two children.
