About Me

Scott Kramer, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained gastroenterologist. He has a special interest in treating esophageal disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and esophageal motility disorders. He is part of the team at the Stamford Health Heartburn, Reflux, and Esophageal Specialty Center. The center specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal disorders and provides a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Dr. Kramer performs advanced, minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat esophageal disorders. These procedures include esophageal pH monitoring to check for acid in the esophagus and esophageal manometry to measure the strength of movement in the esophagus.  He also performs upper endoscopies to visually evaluate the esophagus.

Dr. Kramer received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, where he also completed his residency training in internal medicine. He completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology at New York University Langone Medical Center.

In his free time, Dr. Kramer enjoys playing the piano, travel and movies.
