About Me

Sean Rothenburger is a dedicated and experienced orthopedic trauma physician assistant with a strong background in athletic training. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, both from Sacred Heart University.  
 
Sean's journey in the medical field began with six years as a certified athletic trainer, where he worked in the physical therapy setting and multiple school environments. He had the privilege of working with a variety of patients including athletes of all ages from the elementary and high school level extending to collegiate and professional level. It was during this time that Sean discovered his passion for orthopedics, which led him to further his education and become an assistant physician. 
 
Since 2019, Sean has been practicing as a physician assistant, primarily in the field of orthopedics. His professional skills extend to various subspecialty fields, including neurosurgery and urology. He has been basic life support-certified since 2011 and advanced cardiovascular life support-certified since 2016.  
 
Sean finds immense joy and fulfillment in working in a hospital setting, particularly with trauma patients in the emergency room, where he can make a significant impact on the outcomes of his patient’s acute injuries. 

Outside of his professional life, Sean is passionate about health and fitness. He enjoys traveling and cherishes the time he spends with his family. His commitment to his profession and his dedication to his patients are testaments to his character and his drive to make a difference in the field of health care.
