About Me
Sung Shim is a board-certified physician assistant who is part of Stamford Health’s orthopedic trauma team. He is a highly skilled clinician who has received didactic and clinical training to function in all areas of the peri-operative environment, including pre-admission, testing, intra-operative first assisting, PACU care, and post-operative care. He also brings the valuable experiences and knowledge from his previous profession as a surgical technologist to the intra-operative setting. He provides orthopedic trauma consults in the emergency department and inpatient settings.
In his free time, Sung enjoys camping, biking, golf, and skiing.
