Timothy Manoni, MD
Division Head for Vascular Surgery
About Me
Dr. Manoni chose to specialize in vascular surgery because it is an evolving field where he can continue to provide new and advanced treatments to his patients. He keeps his patients’ best interests in mind and strives to help them choose the right treatment for their condition.
Dr. Manoni enjoys seeing the immediate, positive results of his work, whether it is restoring blood flow to save a limb from amputation or getting a wound to heal. Vascular surgery also gives him the opportunity to build strong relationships with his patients and provide lifelong monitoring and care for vascular conditions.
Treating patients with diabetes is also a cause close to Dr. Manoni’s heart. Because his daughter has diabetes, he understands the challenges of managing diabetes and strives to help each of his patients achieve a healthier lifestyle.
In the past, Dr. Manoni has served as the director of the wound care center. As the current division head for vascular surgery, he leads a team of surgeons who strive to provide quality care. Dr. Manoni also participates in clinical research, helping his patients receive the latest evidence-based care and treatments.
In his free time, Dr. Manoni enjoys spending time with his wife and children, golfing and supporting the Stamford Health Foundation.
