1. Why did you choose Stamford Health Medical Group?

I have been practicing medicine for over 20 years; with this I have gained the experience to recognize each patient as whole, that we all have individual sensitivities and reactions to disease processes. Providing treatment involves the cure of the actual pathology, healing involves the understanding of the different variables in a women’s life which have impacted her health. SHMG has the same approach to delivery of health to its community with a holistic approach based on the Planetree philosophy as well as evidence and up to date medicine.

 

2. What do you enjoy most about working here {so far}?

As a physician I feel supported by SHMG in the delivery of compassionate, quality and evidence medicine to my patients. As an employee, I have felt very welcomed and thoroughly informed of all that is available to me to make my daily experience satisfying and rewarding. I was able to appreciate that as an institution who cares about customer service they also care about their employee’s wellbeing; there for happy employees- happy customers.

 

3. What’s the most rewarding aspect of your job in general?

To have the opportunity to bring comfort, encouragement and hope to another human being.

 

4. What’s the most challenging aspect of your job in general?

Being able to maintain courage and serenity during emergencies and uncomfortable situations.

 

5. What is one philosophy you live by?

“Treat others as you like to be treated”.
