Many women have postponed getting a mammogram due to concerns of exposure to COVID-19. It is, however, very important to stay up to date with preventive care no matter what, especially when it comes to cancer screening tests like mammograms. 

1. Is it safe to get a mammogram during COVID-19?

Yes, it's safe. Skipping your mammogram during COVID-19 could have serious health consequences, since early detection of breast cancer still offers the best chance for effective treatment.

  • Required mask wearing for all patients and staff during the entire visit
