Elijah E. Paintsil, MD
About Me
Dr. Elijah Paintsil is a pediatric hospitalist with a clinical interest in pediatric infectious diseases. Dr. Paintsil has a special interest in the management of multi-drug-resistant HIV infections and the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
Dr. Paintsil graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School in Ghana. He completed his pediatric residency and pediatric infectious disease fellowship at Lincoln Medical Center in New York and Yale University in New Haven, respectively.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Paintsil serves as an Associate Professor at Yale University School of Medicine. He also participates in research that focuses on understanding the individual differences in response to anti-retroviral therapy.
