About Me
Dr. Sanjay Patel specializes in providing comprehensive general internal medicine care for adults through every stage of life. Using the best medical science and evidence-based care, Dr. Patel works with each individual patient to prevent, diagnose and treat a broad and comprehensive spectrum of illnesses and conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes and allergies. Whether a patient is experiencing a common or complex condition, Dr. Patel is committed to offering care designed to meet the varied needs of each patient.
As a medical student, Dr. Patel worked as a research fellow, teaching and mentoring other students. He served as an advisor, helping students with research projects and leading students in problem-based learning groups.
As an attending physician at Stamford Health, Dr. Patel offers the same support to his patients. He strives to help all his patients achieve better health by treating acute conditions and teaching each patient how to manage their condition and live a healthy lifestyle. He uses the latest evidence-based medicine to create personalized health plans for all his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Patel enjoys yoga, snowboarding, traveling and doing volunteer work. He speaks fluent English and Gujurati.
