About Me

Dr. Andikyan is fellowship trained in gynecologic oncology and specializes in treatment of cervical, endometrial, ovarian, vaginal and vulvar cancer. His practice also includes evaluation and treatment of women with complex benign gynecologic conditions and hereditary gynecologic oncology syndromes (BRCA gene mutation and Lynch syndromes). He provides a personalized approach to cancer treatment from diagnosis through surveillance with a focus on molecular and genetic profiles of cancer. Dr. Andikyan’s expertise includes minimally invasive surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System as well as traditional laparoscopic surgery, debulking surgery, sentinel lymph node dissection, hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, radical pelvic and upper abdominal resections. He is an assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine where he is actively involved in patient care, teaching and research.
