A Message From Our Chair, Dr. Raviv Berlin
Welcome to the Department of Psychiatry at Stamford Health where we have a rich tradition of caring for patients with mental health challenges. In fact, our inpatient psychiatry unit first opened in 1910. Stamford Health strongly believes that mental health is equally important to physical health, and we continue to grow and improve clinical programs to meet the needs of our community.
The past three years have been transformational for our department and the patients we serve. We partnered with Liberation Programs to offer outpatient psychotherapy at two of our medical practices at 292 Long Ridge Road in Stamford and 75 Holly Hill Lane in Greenwich. We also integrated outpatient behavioral health services into the Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center, the Susan Falk Rapoport Women’s Specialty Center, and Geriatric Assessment Center. And most recently, we opened our first freestanding outpatient behavioral health office at the Tully Health Center where we are currently accepting referrals for psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric medication management, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy. I invite you to read more on our website to see who we are today and where we are headed in the future.
