About Me

Dr. Sandhu is a Urogynecologist and Pelvic Surgeon, who is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Sandhu graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and went on to Princeton University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Latin American Studies. She earned her medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, as part of the Humanities and Medicine Program. Dr. Sandhu then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York University Medical Center. She graduated from a three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has been working in Stamford and throughout Fairfield County since 2009.

Dr. Sandhu specializes in conditions of the bladder and pelvic floor, particularly urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and lower urinary tract symptoms, which may include recurrent urinary infections and inflammatory disorders. She plays an integral role in the female Chronic Pelvic Pain Program at Stamford Hospital as well. She is actively involved in the teaching of Columbia University medical students and plays a large role in resident education at Stamford Hospital.

She currently lives in Greenwich with her husband and three children.
