About Me
Dr. Marc Silver, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, provides specialized care for musculoskeletal conditions and sports injuries. He has over ten years of experience caring for athletes and adults, offering a wide range of services including arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder and joint replacement.
Dr. Silver helps all athletes, from semi-professionals to weekend warriors, resume their active lifestyles with advanced, comprehensive treatments. From innovative minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques to biologic injections, he provides personalized care to all his patients.
Dr. Silver previously served as team physician for Yale University football and hockey teams. He enjoys helping athletes perform at their best and quickly return to play following an injury. He also works with veterans at the VA Connecticut Healthcare system to help them regain mobility and overcome musculoskeletal pain. Dr. Silver has been recognized for his outstanding patient care and named as a “Top Doctor” by both Castle Connolly and Connecticut Magazine.
Dr. Silver helps shape the future of orthopedic surgery through research and as an assistant clinical professor for Yale University School of Medicine. He teaches medical students and residents, preparing them to perform surgery and provide quality care to patients.
